Kristie’s choc-chip hazelnut banana bread

So I made this awesome Banana Bread using some bananas that I had frozen after having gone brown and mushy. It’s that little irk of mine, brown mushy bananas, but they are perfect for baking!

Baking time: approx. 45-50 minutes

4 oz Butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 Tblsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
1 cup choc chips
1 cup chopped hazelnuts
3-4 ripened bananas
Pinch salt

squishy brown bananas

1. Pre-heat oven at 180c and grease a tin baking pan approx. 11/21cm
2. Cream butter and sugar. Combine in the vanilla extract, eggs and bananas…

mix in the bananas

3. Add in dry ingredients, portioned, until creamy and combined
4. Stir in chocolate and hazelnuts
5. Bake for 45mins and test with skewer…may need another 6 minutes depending on heat of oven
6. Enjoy!

Hi Kristie, you have been busy!! I will make that goulasch sometime soon, but it’s hot and sticky here so the homegrown tomatoes and BBQ are eating better than a good stew
